It’s that time of year! If you’re anything like me, you’re rushing like a mad person to get all your Christmas gifts purchased and made and wrapped. The clock is ticking, people.
Because I’m super generous and also enjoy avoiding my own to-do list, I’ve made some printable Christmas gift tags to share with you–for FREE! Consider it my little gift to you.
These tags are the perfect addition to all your gift wrapping this Christmas season. I know I will be using them on my neighbor gifts, but they’re great for friends, family, ministering sisters, teacher gifts, and more!

Free Christmas gift tag printables
These free printables include Merry Christmas gift tags, Joy, Happy Holidays, Winter Wishes, Ho Ho Ho, and Be Merry tags. The graphics include a Christmas tree, candy cane, snowman, and reindeer in traditional colors of red and green. The buffalo check patterns give these tags a fun country Christmas feel, as well.
The FREE printable PDF contains all 8 different designs. However, if there’s a particular design you’d like a full sheet of, you can purchase the full file that contains the mixed sheet as well as individual sheets of each tag (it’s inexpensive but just a little something to help compensate me for my time, so I appreciate you!).

Here are some easy Christmas treat ideas to make or buy for your friends and neighbors:
- your favorite snack mix: for fun, you could put it in clear fillable ornaments like these
- a loaf of homemade bread with a small jar of jam
- homemade caramels (This is on my to-do list this year! I might be the only who likes it but I’m making my grandma’s black licorice caramels, too!)
- hot cocoa packets or a homemade cocoa mix
- the best homemade apple syrup
- crackers and a jar of cranberry jalapeño dip
- peanut brittle or toffee
- a mason jar of chocolate candies (my go-to last minute gift!)
- your favorite Christmas treat (there’s no shortage of baked goods at Christmastime and everyone has their favorites to share!)
Don’t forget to tie on one of these free gift tags once you’ve got your treats packaged up!
Other cute Christmas gift ideas
Gift baskets of any kind are always welcome, especially at Christmas. It doesn’t have to be anything huge, but bonus points if you can make it unique to your recipient based on things you know they’ll like.
I’d personally love to receive a basket of cozy things like a hot cocoa mug, slippers, and a Christmas puzzle (you could include a candle if that’s your thing but I think they’re toxic and gross, haha). Or you could make a holiday baking basket, complete with a cookie mix, cookie cutters, and a cute spatula.

For simpler, less-expensive gifts, try one of these:
- a Christmas tea towel

- a DIY simmer pot (they usually contain things like cranberries, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks and can be boiled over a stove to make your house smell like Christmas)
- candy canes (perfect for friend or classroom gifts)
And, of course, you don’t have to use any of these gift ideas in order to use these free gift tags. You can just put them on the Christmas presents you’re already giving family and friends!
How to use these fun printables for Christmas
Note: These gift tags are for personal use only and may not be shared, sold, or distributed, in whole or in part. Please do not share this PDF file or the download link–they are for personal use only. Please share a link to this blog post instead!
Use your home computer to download the file, then you can print it, either at home or send to a print shop.
Tips for printing: Make sure your printer settings are set to scale 100% and print at a high quality. For best results, print on white cardstock (or regular printer paper would work fine too).
Once printed, you can use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut the tags out. Punch a hole at the top of the tag with a hole punch and tie to your gift with ribbon, baker’s twine, or yarn. Or simply tape a tag on your Christmas presents. A beautifully wrapped gift and one of these tags is sure to make someone’s holiday!
The great thing about these cute gift tags is you can print them as many times as you want (for personal use) and use them year after year!
